RE:MiamiBeach focuses on all things real estate on the Beach. If it impacts the value of your property or quality of life as a resident or business owner, then we cover it.  Our commitment: Nothing but the Beach. There are many outlets that report on Miami and Miami-Dade (and do it well), but the Beach has its own unique characteristics that often get lost. At the same time, there are many changes on the horizon here that have remained unexplored due to the time and space limitations of other media. We delve deeper into the issues, some of which may not be the most exciting (water and sewer rates, anyone?) but that have a direct impact on you. We highlight ideas, proposals, and policy changes before they reach a final vote so you can participate in the discussion. As we navigate the global COVID-19 pandemic, the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) and Greater Miami and The Beaches Hotel Association (GMBHA) are proud to support the hundreds of thousands of airline, cruise line and travel & tourism employees that are the lifeblood of Miami’s hospitality industry and our economy.  Already, Florida hotels and support businesses have cut 400,000 jobs, and we’re seeing partners and co-workers throughout our community struggle to meet such basic needs as rent/mortgage assistance, food, medication and utilities.  In partnership with United Way of Miami-Dade, The Miami Foundation, Miami Herald/el Nuevo Herald, Health Foundation of South Florida, The Fredrick A. DeLuca Foundation and others, the GMCVB and GMBHA have helped launch the Miami Pandemic Response Fund. Through the United Way’s Operation Helping Hands, we have joined to address the short-term impact on vulnerable families and small businesses throughout our community.
